What if my child misses a day of school?

We understand that life happens and students will miss school. Students must bring a note after each absence in order to obtain a classroom admittance slip to class. A note from a parent or guardian must be presented to the office within 3 days of the student’s return to school.

(WS) What if my child misses more than one day of school due to an illness like the flu?

If the student misses up to 3 days in a row, a parent note about illness is sufficient. If the absence goes over 3 days, a doctor’s note is required.

  • Personal Business – Absences resulting from personal business for student or family members including but not limited to vacations, trips, extra-curricular activities, personal lessons.
