Recently, two of our amazing art students were recognized as being winners in the thirty-third anniversary of the Congressional Art Competition. Out of 93 high school students who entered from Congressman Randy Weber’s 14th District of Texas, two of our students placed in the top 4!
Abigale Manchaca was chosen as the first runner-up for her pencil drawing of a goat.
Bailey LaBauve was selected as the third runner up with her colored pencil drawing
titled Wide Open Spaces.
Their artwork will hang in Randy Weber’s district offices for a year. Congrats to these two artists!
