FHS celebrates homecoming for 2015


FHS celebrates homecoming for 2015, Class of 1996 The Friendswood Mustangs battled theDickinson Gators during their Homecoming game Friday, October 23 at Henry Winston Stadium. During halftime Homecoming candidates were announced and Queen Skylar McHenry and Sweetheart Elaina Roher reigned the rest of the evening. The Homecoming Queen candidates were Skylar McHenry, escorted by Ryan Epperson; Summer Bockart, escorted by Derek Krouse and Jenna Hetsko escorted by Alex Heath. Maggie Roher, FHS 2014 Homecoming Queen, along with FHS 1996 Homecoming Queen Ms.Gina Quevedo, presented Queen with the crown and a bouquet of roses. The FHS Homecoming court included Football Sweetheart candidates, Elaina Roher escorted by Cody Williamson; Natalie Crowder, escorted by Dane Grissom and Katie Yee, escorted by Luke Armetta. Trophy and flower bearers included Paige and Haley Patton, daughters of Roxie Patton Class of 98 and James Patton Class of 96; Caleb Burroff, son of Alicia Smith Burroff Class of 96; Charlene Chapman, daughter of Rachel Dreyfus Chapman Class of 96; Brody Hall, son of Kelley Marshall Hall Class of 96 and Matthew Hall Class of 94; Maggie Singleton, daughter of Cristina Quevedo Singleton Class of 94. At the start of halftime, the band play the fight song in honor of the faculty and members of the 1996 class who gathered at the 50 yard line during the homecoming activities.
