The Class of 2017 enjoyed a Friendswood High School tradition, Senior Field Day, on Friday, May 19th at Stevenson Park. The students participated in a variety of activities including Human Hamster Ball, Meltdown, Quad Bungee, Dunk Tank, Obstacle Course, Bungee Run, a Velcro Wall and many others such as swimming, sand volleyball, and basketball.
Class Sponsors, Jann Davies and Teresa Martinez along with the Class of 2017 Officers, Morgan Evans, Elaina Roher, Kyle Dickens and Shelby Michaels, organized the events.
Three food trucks Pounders, Noami Street, and Nacho Nacho provided lunch. Angie’s Cake Balls and the Shiver Shack offered desert.
Over the last four years, the Class of 2017 exceeded fundraising goals by 150% with the help of sponsors, parents and community members through class t-shirt sales, football pre-game dinners, raffles, and other fundraisers. The Class gave away more than $16,000 in scholarships and gifts at Senior Field day.
