FHS places 10 in the All-State Band

Ten Friendswood HS students successfully auditioned for the Texas All-State Bands on Saturday, Jan. 10, at Lamar University. This was the final audition for the students in a process that began in August. Only the top 3% of all students in band across Texas earn a position in the All-State Band. The All-State Bands will perform during the Texas Music Educators Association convention, to be held in San Antonio, Feb. 11-14.
