FHS Spanish students earn national recognition  

Friendswood High School Spanish students are being recognized for their outstanding performance on the 2018 National Spanish Exam.  According to Kevin Cessna-Buscemi, National Director of the Exams, Attaining a medal or honorable mention for any student on the National Spanish Examinations is very prestigious because the exams are the largest of their kind in the United States with over 150,000 students participating in 2018.

GOLD MEDAL (ORO): 95th – 99th percentile

Spanish II: Nicholas Cipolla, Neelesh Gupta, David Jones, Sia Ramchandran and Linh Van,

Spanish IV: Valerie Anderson, Priya Juarez, and Sara Mabe.

SILVER MEDAL (PLATA):85th – 94th percentile
