The Friendswood Mustang Swim and Dive team competed in their first meet of the season this weekend hosting Clear Creek, Clear Springs, FRCB, Alvin and Texas City High Schools at the Friendswood Natatorium.
Friday evening began with the Diving Event with junior, Kiana Harden, from FRCB, placed first for the girls diving with a score of 151.55 points followed by Megan Alexander from Clear Springs with 149.00 points and in 3rd place Elaina Lee also from Clear Springs with 145.90 points.
The Friendswood boys dominated with returning Friendswood Senior Michael Claunch, earning first place with a score of 236.45 points, Friendswood Junior Brandon De La Fuente, earning second with 213.45 points and Friendswood Freshman Gabriel Costa rounding out the third spot with a score of 150.40 points.
The swimming events began on Saturday morning with the Friendswood Mustang Girls placing first in the meet with 481 points, followed by Clear Creek in second place with 289 points and Clear Springs in third with 248 points.
The Friendswood Mustang Boys placed first with 522 points, Clear Creek took second place with 298 points, and Clear Springs finished in third place with 268 points. First Place
