Santa Project makes holidays brighter for many young kids
Giving to others is an important part of the holiday season and National Technical Honor Society students at Friendswood High School learned the joy of seeing it personally with their Santa Project.
This event gets all Career Technology Education classes and several other classes/organizations in the school involved in a great community service project to help area families in need.
NTHS adopted all kindergarten, first grade, and second grade classes at South Shaver Elementary in Pasadena.
NTHS asked the classes at Friendswood High School to “adopt a class” from South Saver Elementary.
“Students at FHS did an amazing job and donated over 300 gifts,” Sponsor Melissa Schwartz said.
Nineteen FHS students delivered the presents to the students at South Shaver. Santa and several elves were part of the entourage.
“It was a great experience for all and a reminder of how great it feels to give to others,” Schwartz said.
