Swimmers take second at LCISD meet

Friendswood High School Swimming and Diving Teams Compete in the Lamar Consolidated Invitational
On November 1 and 2 the Friendswood High School Swimming and Diving teams competed in the Lamar Consolidated Invitational.  The Lady Mustangs took second overall with 445 points with Kingwood Park taking first with 492 points and Richmond George Ranch taking third with 417.  The Mustangs also took second place overall with 406 points while Richmond George Ranch took first with 505 points and Humble Summer Creek took third with 369 points. The teams will compete next at Clear Brook High School in their first dual meet of the season on November 7.

Gina Fossati – Girls 200 Yard Freestyle
Matt Wall – Boys 100 Yard Freestyle
Sadie Wilson, Heidi Henricks, Sydney Gurry, Gina Fossati – Girls 200 Yard Freestyle Relay
Cassie Nagle – Girls 100 Yard Backstroke
Justin Bertelsman – 100 Yard Backstroke
Sydney Gurry – Girls 100 Yard Breaststroke

Those placing 2nd in their events included:
Sydney Gurry – 200 Yard Freestyle
Sadie Wilson – 200 Yard Individual Medley
Rachel Wright – Girls 1 Meter Diving
Gina Fossati – Girls 100 Yard Backstroke
Daniel Theall – Boys 100 Yard Breaststroke
