Friendswood High School had 5 students place in their categories plus one Grand Award Winner. Each category awards a total of 5 place awards. Grand Awards are given to 4 students overall.
Roma Pradhan placed as the 2nd place Grand Award winning project in the Physical Science category for the whole state of Texas. This is truly an accomplishment that deserves some outside recognition. Roma also will be going to the INTEL International Science and Engineering Fair for the 2nd time and she has been a state qualifier for several years in a row now. Jamie McCullough will also be representing FHS at the INTEL ISEF this year. The INTEL ISEF takes place from May 11 -16 in Los Angeles, CA.
The following nine students from Friendswood High School participated in the Exxon Mobil Texas Science and Engineering Fair in San Antonio, Texas from March 21- 23, 2014. Each student participated in 3 science fairs in order to reach the State Science Fair and they all represented themselves and Friendswood High School proudly.
The 1300 participating students at the fair represented 12 regional fairs from across Texas.

Jamie McCullough and Roma Pradhan will continue on to the INTEL International Science and Engineering Fair to be held in Los Angeles, CA from May 11-16, 2014 after qualifying at the Science and Engineering Fair of Houston in March.
