UIL OAP Season ends

danFine Arts News, High School News, Theatre News

Please help Colin David and I  congratulate the UIL One Act Play company on an outstanding performance at Area, Saturday April 12.

Unfortunately we placed third and are Alternate to Regionals.  This ends our UIL  One Act Play 4A affiliation and we are looking forward to the challenges of 6 A.  As theatre technology changes FHS OAP looks forward to the challenges that the new conference will bring.  We will be ready.

I am proud to be able to say that the legacy of Friendswood in 4 A  UIL OAP  will always be remembered withe the same excellence that the cast of The Elephant Man  performed with on Saturday.

This team has worked as hard as any State Champions that I have ever had the honor to coach.

We will announce  later this week  an encore performance to celebrate the show and to say goodbye to our SENIORS.
