Chef Ann Curry from The Green Event Center spoke to Friendswood High School Culinary Arts Classes about her experiences and her career path in culinary arts.
She also showed the students how to make a Chicken Wellington which is a seared chicken breast with a mushroom sauce wrapped in a puff pastry and baked until golden brown.
She also taught the students how to make “mushroom potatoes” which are potatoes that look like mushrooms. Students then got to make the dish.
The students loved the information and the cooking as well as the eating of their new recipes, according to teacher Melissa Schwartz.
