What Students Need to Know for Test Day

The January SAT® is approaching. Are students in your school registered for this administration? If so, here’s what they need to know for test day:

Students must bring their Admission Tickets. They can print them by logging in to My SAT and clicking Print Admission Ticket.
Students should confirm their test center locations by checking their Admission Tickets. It’s important to arrive on time. Some students may have to arrange transportation in advance.
If you are in an area affected by inclement weather this weekend, please encourage students to tune in to their local media and continue to check our list of test center closings to confirm the status of your test center. If students do not feel safe traveling the morning of the test, they should contact customer service.
Students must know which items are required, optional, and prohibited in the test center. Review the full listwith them.

Additional policies and requirements exist for some countries. Be sure to check if your country has any unique requirements.

To confirm which students are registered for the SAT or SAT Subject Tests™, read the Counselor Registration Report.
