FHS Speech and Debate team successful at tourney

The FHS Speech and Debate team attended a very competitive meet at Clear Creek High School last weekend and finished successfully. The team won 2nd place Grand Sweepstakes with 32 school competing. Individual winners are listed below:

Congressional Debate–4th place James Mills, finalist James Barr

Novice Lincoln-Douglas Debate–3rd place Michelle Cherian

Domestic Extemp–2nd place Cole Muske & 4th place Carter Adams

International Extemp–1st place Rachel Sims, 2nd place James Mills, 5th place Nicholas Jeffcoat & 6th place James Barr

Novice Extemp–1st place Kyle Flick, 2nd place Michelle Cherian, 3rd place Adam Warren & 6th place Juliette Strope
