The Friendswood High School Wranglerettes were honored to perform at the USS Missouri in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii over Spring Break. The Wranglerettes were given the opportunity to tour Pearl Harbor and meet Pearl Harbor survivor Sterling Cale before paying their respects at the USS Arizona Memorial.

The team then moved to the USS Missouri where they performed in honor of the men & women who have served in our armed forces. They were then given a tour of the ship and learned about the ship itself and the infamous attack 75 years ago. At the end of the day, four of the senior dance officers performed the flag folding ceremony. Claire Owens and Isabelle Naylor read the meaning behind each fold in the flag while Stephanie Brown and Stephanie Reynolds folded the flag.

“The entire day was an experience that the team and their families will always remember,” said Director Alyssa Goza. Katelyn Gallagher is the Assistant Director the Wranglerettes.
