FHS Choir UIL Concert and Sight-reading Contest 2017

All five FHS Choirs received superior ratings from judges at UIL Concert and Sight-Reading Contest on Wednesday, April 5 and Thursday, April 6. This is a significant accomplish for the choirs.

Comments from the judges included:
Treble Choir – “Gorgeous phrasing.” “So very musical.” “Beautiful choral performance.”
Concert Men – “Wonderful tone.” “Exciting performance.” “What a beautiful performance.”
Bel Canto – “Lovely tone quality.” “Good energy throughout.” “Excellent stylistic interpretation.”
Campus Singers – “Beautiful tone with good balance among all sections.”
Vocal Ensemble – “Beautiful, focused tone quality.” Excellent articulation, vibrant energy.” “You sing with a maturity not often heard by high school singers.”
