Parade:
Thurs., Oct. 19: Begins at 6:30 pm

Pep Rally:
Fri., Oct. 20st at 3:10 pm / Henry Winston Stadium

Theme:
Homecoming at FHS – The Place Where Dreams Come True. The theme involves Disney Films.

The Student Council will be Mickey and Minnie Mouse at the front of the parade. You should choose your favorite Disney Film to decorate your float and dress up for the parade.

It will be first come, first serve, so please get them to Laura Peter as soon as your group has decided what they want to do. I will get approval back to you immediately or let you know that someone has already chosen that Disney Film so that you may choose another. All forms are due back to Laura Peter no later than Thursday, October 12, 2017, if you want to participate in this year’s parade.

You may email them back to Laura Peter. Please note: You may NOT throw anything from your float, including candy, beads, etc.

PARADE INFORMATION:
HC Parade Registration Form 2017
• Parade line up: 6 pm
• Parade begins: 6:30 pm
• Route: Parade begins at 518/Pecan street (by Dunn Bros Coffee) and we will travel down 518 (Main St) to Chase Bank
Parade/Map Lineup
• The pep rally will be in parking lot by Chase Bank

$100 awards will be given in each of the following categories:

  • Most Creative
  • Most Spirited
  • Best Use of Theme
  • Best Class Float

Dress up days during the week are a follows: Please note: no masks or weapons are allowed on these days.

  • Monday = ‘Merica Monday
  • Tuesday = Tourist Tuesday
  • Wednesday = Walt Disney Wednesday
  • Thursday = Tie Dye Thursday
  • Friday = Spirit Day
