As a district, we are held to a yearly student contact time of 75,600 minutes of instruction. The Texas Education Agency gave FISD 7 waiver days for the hurricane. The FHS Band participated in the TMEA Region 17 District/Region Band auditions this past Saturday at Alvin High School. FHS had 46 students qualify for District, out of which 30 qualified for Region.
