Health Science Students Travel Abroad

Six (6) Health Science students and one (1) Health Science Teacher took a health science-related trip to England and Scotland from July 16-24, 2019. In England the students took a medical walking tour, visited the Florence Nightingale Museum, participated in a forensic workshop, rode the London Eye, saw “Wicked” the play, went on the “Jack the Ripper” tour,  visited the Tower of London, went to the Wellcome Center and visited the Old Operating Theatre. Students then took a train to Scotland where they went on a medical tour, saw the William Wallace statue, visited the Surgeon’s Museum, toured Mary King’s Close, and visited the Edinburgh Castle. Students enjoyed the trip and learning about the different healthcare cultures.
