3 Color Guard teams have success as they face only two more contests

Varsity Pearland showSuccess has been the results of each endeavor by the three competitive Color Guard squads.

At a Dawson High School contest, FHS Varsity Color Guard placed first in World Division. JV Color Guard placed second in Scholastic JV Division and the FJH Color Guard placed first in Cadet Division.

At the Magnolia High School Contest, only Varsity competed at the competition and received first place in World Division.

The Pearland High School Contest offered three ways to shine by the three FISD teams. The Varsity Color Guard placed first in World Division, the JV placed second in Scholastic JV Division and the Junior High team placed first in Cadet Division.

JVThe three teams hosted a Friends and Family Night March 4 in the High School Boy’s Gym at 6:30 pm.  This gave their families a chance to see the performances without having to travel to a contest site.

The Color Guards has two more contests left for each team, one of those being their Championships competition.

Varsity includes the following members:  Riki Ellard, Makenzie Finch, Nathalie Heimeyer, Meghan Gilbert, Natalie Pitts, Kellee Ramirez, Julia Ratliff, Shelby Rich, Alyssa Berardi, Emilee Clyburn, Kaile Guidry, Holly McGowan, Michelle Martin, Callie Pizzitola, and Alissa Williams.

Their prop-boys include Nick Hughey, Adrian Rodriguez, and Mitchell Stilwell.

JV includes Brianna Bordelon, Kenyatta Gibbs, Angela Goddard, Bailey Harris, Mackenzie Harris, Courtney Huning, Shelby Jones, Savannah Moffitt, Aleah Thomas, Anjelique Thompson, Ava Treon and Miranda Wingfield.

Junior High includes Sophie Clement, Julia Curry, Jalila Foster, Julia Kelly, Ayleen Romero, Grace Sebesta, Karsen Spencer, Zoe Stilwell, Emily Warren, Hannah Gilbert, Jalisa Hernandez, Katie Johnson and Makayla Roberson.
