FHS Wranglerettes repeat as National Champions

The FHS Wranglerettes attended the American Drill Team National Competition March 18-19 in Denton, Texas and remains the NATIONAL CHAMPIONS with their 18th title since 1995. Director, Alyssa Goza said “It was an incredible contest season and we are thrilled to end on a high note. I am so proud of these girls!”

The Wranglerettes placed first in Jazz, Kick, Lyrical, Hip Hop and first runner up in Pom. The National Champion Officers placed first in Jazz, first in Lyrical, first in Modern and second in Novelty. The social officers also won first, and the Illusion Ensemble took first and Dream Ensemble took second. Both the Team and Officers earned the title NATIONAL CHAMPIONS.

The honors kept coming, Wranglerette soloist, Haley Weger, was named a National Champion Solo Finalist.  Other soloists Courtney Banfield placed third, Claire Owens placed fifth and Stephanie Reynolds placed sixth.

The Wranglerettes competed against 100 teams in the international category, including Japan and won first place in Team Kick, third in Lyrical, fourth in Jazz, sixth in Team Hip Hop and tenth in Team Pom.
