FHS Theatre Department’s final weekend for Treasure Island

Friendswood High School Theatre set sail with their production of the classic pirate tale by Robert Louis Stevenson: Treasure Island. Audiences are raving at this timeless tale of adventure with a twist.

Senior, Cade Tucker plays the leading role of Captain Long John Silver; the one-legged pirate who needs to return to Treasure Island to claim his buried treasure.

Junior, Andrea Beasley plays Jem, the young shipmate who tells the story of adventure.

Performances are at the Myrlene Kennedy Auditorium at Friendswood High School on October 14 and 15 at 7:00pm. The house seating begins at 6:30pm.

Saturday, October 15 at 10:00 am at FHS Myrlene Kennedy Auditorium guests are invited to have breakfast with the cast and take a backstage tour.

Sunday, October 16 at 2:30 pm will be the Matinee and closing performance. Seating begins at 2:00 pm.

The cast is lead by seniors: Max Morgan, Kyle Dickens, Katie Sharp, Nate Hejtmancik, Lydia Wooten, Elaina Roher and Dante Marcuccio. Juniors who lead the cast are J. C. Mills, Garrett McGregor, Garrett Morris, Jacqueline Kutz and Travis Schlicht. The cast total is 57 students grades 9-12 and Technical Crew staff of 28 students. The crew is lead by senior Joseph LeBlanc with Meredith Fraga doing lighting design and light operation. Emily King is running the sound design and sound crew.
