Last weekend for Seussical The Musical

Friendswood High School's Theatre Department Seussical - PERFORMS this FRIDAY, September 21, SATURDAY, September 22 at 7pm and SUNDAY, September 23 at 2:20 pm.  FHS THEATRE opened their fall production of Seussical last Saturday in the Myrlene Kennedy Auditorium.

"Oh the Things you Can Think", "Oh the Places You'll Go", "Amazing Gertrude, Horton and Mayzie the Lazy Bird" and the "Circus McGurkus" all of your favorites are here.

According to Director Kathy Powdrell,  "FHS THEATRE wanted to bring this wonderful show to our community because it is full of wonder with vivid Seuss characters.  The themes are full of character education our favorite is on the back of our show shirts:  A person is a person no matter how small."  Families are loving it!  The response from the audience has been fantastic.  It is an all-around wonderful experience for my students and our patrons. We would like to say we have a show full of surprises!"

Eric Jensen, Junior, plays the role of THE CAT in the HAT, Junior Gracen McGregor plays the young JOJO and Michael Donovan, Senior, plays HORTON.

Amy Thornton's Technical students are lead by Trey Hahn as the lighting designer and programmer with Tamia Garcia running sound and operating 20 microphones with her crew.  Jana Ryan is heading up 150 plus costumes/and even more accessories with Margaret Otto assisting in production management.

Tickets are $15 at the door. No pre sale. Cash (There is an ATM on Campus.)

Tickets go on sale one hour before each performance.
