Mr. Brownfield makes it to State Art Competition

Well, at least his face made it!  This past weekend the FHS Art Students competed at the regional art competition, VASE, with 52 works of art.  Of those, 40 pieces received GOLD medals and TWO of our students are headed to State!  Congratulations to freshman, Julia Bukowski, for making it to state with her piece of Joe Brownfield called "My Other Half," and to senior, Jessica Kidd, advancing to state with her Digital Design piece titled "Daughter Moon."  Overall, there were 1634 entries and only 109 pieces made it to state.
