November 20th was the first meet of the year for the Mustang Wrestling Team.

This year the Mustangs have a little different look. For the first time in history the Mustangs have enough girls to fill enough weight class to be able to compete as a team. There is now a girls wrestling team at FHS.

The Mustangs wrestled Terry H.S. and Clear Lake High School tonight. The girls tied Terry 18 – 18 in their first team meet ever. 
• Bailey Jarvis wrestled her first varsity match ever and won by pin.
• Dora Martinez picked up where she left off, winning by pin.
• Carolyn Rodriguez picked up her first varsity win with a pin.

Next the girls faced Clear Lake H.S. where they recorded their first team win in Mustang history with a score of 30-6. 
• Elena Ellyson winning her first varsity match by pin
• Dora Martinez won by pin.

The boys came out strong defeating Terry H.S. by a score of 36-18 and defeating Clear Lake by a score of 33-30. 
• Joseph Price picked up his first varsity win by pin.
• Oscar Martinez started strong by picking up two wins by pin.
• The top male wrestle goes to Ryan Ammodt for two outstanding performance winning both by pin.
