Dear FISD Parents,

Good evening. You should have all received an email from your campus principals with guidance on how teachers will be rolling out instructional opportunities or activities for learning over the next several weeks. In an effort to keep you informed and simplify the process as much as possible, campus principals will be sharing updates for the week ahead every Sunday evening at 6 pm via email.

We want to make sure you are getting the support you need. Here is a list of resources that may help as you navigate this new concept of “family learning.”

Questions on:

→ Canvas how-to: https://myfisd.com/16canvas/

→ Tech support (can’t open/what is my password, etc.): please email [email protected]

Instructional Support with activities: Email your teacher via Canvas

We realize not everyone feels comfortable using social media. However, teachers, campuses, and Friendswood ISD are sharing many creative lessons, how-tos and “read alongs” on Facebook right now to help families stay engaged. Suggestion: If you want a social media account, for this reason, we suggest you simply limit the number of pages you follow or “like.” Here is a full list of FISD social media pages.

Thank you for your continued support of our students and schools,

Friendswood ISD
