I hope all of our outstanding Mustangs and parents are doing well as we complete Week 2 of social separation. I know everyone is doing fine and practicing the mandated ‘good health & stay at home’ procedures. Take this opportunity to have some fun with your family and get outside and enjoy the outdoors around your home.
Students, we miss you and can’t wait to be reunited at FHS. Until this occurs we need to make sure you are doing everything that is being asked online by your classroom Teachers. The key focus will be on communication with your Teacher. If you have any issues with your online instructions, contact your Teacher through CANVAS or email him/her to ask any questions.
Understand that FHS will be flexible with all grading and we will have a plan in place to make-up work as we return to school. We ask that you work hard, do your best and embrace the online instruction model. I know if we work together, we can make this innovative model a success! We can’t wait to watch all of our students overcome this challenge and soar with Mustang Pride!
Seniors, I know this is not how you wanted to spend time in your last semester at FHS. As of now plans exist for all UIL academic and sport activities to resume when we return to FHS. We are still hopeful that we can participate in all our Senior activities that have been planned for the end of the school year. We ask the awesome graduating class of 2020 to keep your spirits high, keep the faith and remember you all have exciting futures ahead of you as we move forward. The world is an amazing, loving and beautiful place. It will be waiting for you with open arms.
Mustangs, remember your FHS Teachers and Staff are amazing people, and we are “ALL IN” to make this “Distance Learning” experience work for you. As we forge ahead in the days and weeks to come, we want you to know we are here for you. We have the privilege to set the emotional tone and positive attitude that we are here for each other. Let’s be there for one another until we are reunited at FHS, and it will be time to once again GO MUSTANGS at The Number One High School!“
