3/17/20: Message from Principal Mark Griffon

WebmasterHigh School News

Dear Mustang Families,

We hope this email finds you all healthy. As we prepare for distance learning,  we want to share our approach to support your students instructionally throughout the course of this next week. First and foremost, we want to encourage you to take this unexpected time home with your children to draw closer, connect, and learn.
By this Thursday, March 19th at noon, each of your child’s teachers will post learning resources and activities on their Canvas page under the title “Distance Learning” or will send an email to the parents to help your child stay connected and engaged. These are learning resources and activities that are meant to engage your child academically while we are learning from a distance. These initial activities will not be graded. However, we know the structure is important for students. Our goal is to keep our academic expectations reasonable as we recognize our family and home routines have been disrupted. We will send out timely updates on Sundays by 6:00 pm moving forward to update you on instructional information. We will have special communication for AP and Dual Credit students once we receive updated communication from the College Board and College Of The Mainland(COM).
As the situation continues to be closely monitored, updates regarding distance learning will be shared. Thank you for your partnership, and GO MUSTANGS!
