“Dear Mustangs,
I would first like to say how proud I am to be the principal at FHS, the number one high school in the state! Secondly, I would like to tell you how proud I am of all of our students and how you have accepted the challenge to do your best during our distance learning program. We only have 14 days to finish this year Stang Strong!

The key focus moving forward is for all our students to engage and complete their assignments. I know it has been a difficult ending to the school year by having to be apart from your friends and by missing fun school activities. Students we want to motivate you to engage and complete your 4th 9-weeks assignments if you want to use your 3rd 9-week grade as a replacement; otherwise, you will receive an incomplete for the 4th 9-weeks, and you will have to attend summer school. Remember, finishing strong includes your continuing to give effort and dedication to your learning!

Students, I want you to know that your teachers and the staff at FHS care for you and miss you. Your teachers have been working hard from a distance to help make you a success during this crisis. We will be celebrating teacher appreciation week May 4-8.  Please take a moment to email, call or give your outstanding teachers a shout on social media during our teacher appreciation week. As we push for the finish line, let’s join together and work as a Mustang family to complete this unbelievable journey with “Mustang Pride.” Stay safe, stay strong and stay positive!
