UPDATE: SEPT. 9, 2020

Attention Seniors,
If you signed up to take the SAT on September 23 please read:
Check your email (sent by Mrs. Lyon on 9/8) for confirmation that you reserved a spot for the 9/23 School Day SAT. VERY IMPORTANT- I will be emailing you using the email address that you provided when you signed up on the google form. For some of you, this is your FISD email, for others, you used your personal email or parent’s email. I will continue to send SAT information to that email address and will post it here to the website.

Also, click here to access the “SAT Student Guide.” If you would like a physical copy, please come get one from the table out in front of the AP Office. They will be available for you to grab all week.
Please contact Delaney Lyon, Assistant Principal & Testing Coordinator at [email protected] if you have any questions.

Seniors,

FHS will administer an optional SAT for seniors this fall. This is the only time it will be offered by FHS and will be free of charge!

Who: Current 12th graders

What: SAT (No Essay)

When: Wednesday, September 23, 2020

Where: FISD Annex at 403 Laurel Drive (you must be able to provide your own transportation).

How: Reserve your spot by completing the Google Form (this form will be sent via e-blast on Monday August 31st at 6pm)

Remember that spacing will be limited, therefore if you wish to take this exam you will need to sign-up via Google Form. Seats will be reserved on a first-come, first-served basis. You must register via this form no later than Friday, September 4st at 11:59pm. Once maximum capacity has been met the form will close (this may be prior to Sept. 4, depending on how many people sign-up).

Please keep in mind that FISD is purchasing your testing materials and if you sign up you are taking a seat from a limited amount, therefore it is important that you attend if you register.

I will email everyone who secured a testing seat on Tuesday, September 8st.

FHS will abide by the College Board COVID guidelines when administering this exam:

Schools will be required to follow local public health guidelines and should be prepared to communicate all requirements to students ahead of test day. College Board supports efforts to help ensure the safety and comfort of their staff and students, such as:

  • Requiring and/or providing face masks, gloves, hand sanitizer, or other PPE.

  • Spacing students at least 6 feet apart to adhere to social distancing guidelines.

  • Encouraging students and staff to practice regular handwashing and stay home if they are sick.

If you have any questions please feel free to email me, Delaney Lyon (Assistant Principal and Testing Coordinator) at [email protected].
