The FHS Chemistry Department participated in a Veteran’s Day project Nov. 11 and created a mural to honor veterans students and teachers know. The mural is in the upstairs math/science hallway outside room 2004. “It has been an awesome experience so far and each day the mural ‘grows,’” chemistry teacher Andrea Davidson said.

The WW-Bales Robotics team is preparing for the Texas Computer Educators Association (TCEA) Robotics Arena Competiton. The title of this year’s challenge is “Rubble Trouble” and is based on urban search and rescue. Students work in teams of three to build and program their robot to complete six tasks within the challenge. Competition is Dec. 14.
